Wiikly Gametalk #2

After a short delay, I'm back with Comet here for an interview.

Hey Comet. So, Nintendo launched WiiWare two weeks ago, (where people with Internet connections can download games with Wii points) what do you think about that?

I think it's a great source to get games that aren't in source, and a motivation for people to connect their Wii to the Internet.

But it is a limited service to people with WiFi. Do you think that it was a bad move on Nintendo's part to make it only available to a small group of people?
I think it was a good move, actually - it may be trying to become more of a network.

Interesting... Also, smaller game developers get a chance to get their game out without having to go through the whole box on shelve thing.
So Brawl has been out for a while, the excitement is now minimal, do you think the sales will keep steady, or begin to drop?

I think the sales will be smaller than launch of course, but I think sales will remain steady. I'm guessing it will stay at the top for some time.

Nintendo Power has responded to this question in Pulse multiple times before: Should Nintendo make a theatrical movie? NP usually responds that Nintendo should continue doing what they do best, making video games. But I'm sure many fans would be ecstatic at a Nintendo movie. What do you think, and what series should it be from?
Microsoft is making a Halo movie, and Sony is making a Metal Gear Solid movie. I think that Nintendo should not be kept out of this. And I think I have a good guess as to which series it would be made off of, or rather two: 1 is Mario because Mario is their mascot. 2 is Fire Emblem.

Fire Emblem. That, Comet, is a great idea by my standards. I think that Nintendo may sit back and see how much success their rivals get from this, and that might effect a decision.
And our interview is concluded. Thank you for being here Comet.
