On: Star Fox returning?

Ah, this will be fun. I haven't got to rant in a bit.
I really don't want people to get the wrong idea. I'm guessing that SF will make it on the Wii, and below is my opinion on the series and it returning. I'm not saying it will, so no rumors born form this please.

SF started on the SNES, and the game got revamped for the N64. It was a very popular game, though some say it was over-rated. You could beat story mode in one sitting, but it could take many tries to beat the game through all the different paths. It was really fun to try to see what you need to do to make it to all the different planets leading up to the final battle with Andross.

This was one of my favorite games to play on the 64, so obviously I would be excited about a sequel coming out on the Gamecube... Star Fox Adventures. Don't even get me started on this game.
OK, too late. Adventures... it wasn't a bad game. It was actually pretty fun. But it SHOULDN'T have been Star Fox. It wasn't Star Fox. The majority of the game was on foot, totally wrong approach. It wasn't a bad idea, and like I said - it wasn't a bad game. But when you have a good thing going with a series, why mess it up? It was, for the most part, a fail. It wasn't Star Fox. If they had made the in-air parts more like the original game and less like a mini-game, and made them more often, that could have helped quite a bit.
Star Fox Assualt redeemed itself a bit, combining both elements smoothly. This was a pretty enjoyable game, in my opinion and went back to Foxie's roots (though the on-foot part remained, though in a lesser degree). It was a good story, had good voice-acting, plot-twists and character development. Woot.
About Command... I never really got into Command. Alternate endings? Too many - plus, you don't know what to think is cannon or not. I just regard it as a spin-off and don't bother with it.
I'm not saying it couldn't be a good game, but... You know. Right? Sure. OK.
So now the question, should Star Fox return? If so, how?
I say yes. If the series is put in the hands of the right developers, and twisted in tone a bit, it could save the series. Assault brought it back a little ways, and I think the Wii is just the system for an amazing Star Fox game. I wouldn't be against seeing on-land missions return, if they're done right.
Will we see Star Fox at E3? Only time will tell.
