Wiikly Gametalk #3

It is Saturday and I'm here with Comet again. Enjoy Gametalk 3.

So what do you think about Ubisoft's Raving Rabbids TV Party? Are you excited and why?
I'm somewhat excited, I think it's pretty clever that it uses the Balance Board with the game, and I think it will be a pretty good game.

What do you think, is Metroid coming back to Wii? Nintendo said that the "Prime" series was done, but will it return with a twist?
Well, Dark Samus is gone, at least it -should- be, but I think it's one of Nintendo's best series, and it should come back with a new series.
You know what I think would be cool? If Samus had to protect Earth from enemies using the Chozo suit. It might not be the most original idea, but it would be a perfect twist on the series.
Agreed.

Are Wiimotes too expensive?
I think it is a good price, and I say that it is even cheap considering its functions.
Yeah, $40 might be kind of expensive for a controller, but if you think about all that is packed into the remote (motion sensors, pointers, etc.) it does sound like a good price.

The DS has been out for a while now. (Four years this November.) Is it nearing time for Nintendo to reveal plans for future handhelds?
I have a few sources that say Nintendo is in production with a new hand-held.
Really? I'll have to do some research. Any details?
Remember the Virtual Boy? A few sources say that they're making something similar to that.
Very interesting... I suppose we may hear something at E3 soon.

Speaking of new systems, lets get WAY ahead of ourselves.
There was about seven years of a gap between the release of the Gamecube and Wii. Think in about three and a half years from now when Nintendo announces their next console in development. How can the Wii be improved upon in the hardware area?
More memory is one thing for sure.
No wrist-strap problems, that was big a year ago.
Chargers for the controllers!
And either no wire or longer wire if it will have another two-piece controller like the nunchuck.

Good things to think about and research. Anything else before we wrap up?
Gamah Watch is planning on sponsoring some tournaments, so keep an eye out for our announcements.

Thanks Comet! -Green
