First off this lady that you've probably never heard of comes onto the stage.
That's when she tells us that she's not Reggie. How's that for a big reveal, huh? Don't forget her snowboarding story.
The first game showcased is a Shawn White snowboarding game, which utilizes the Wii Balance Board.
This lady proves quite well that anyone can jump on the board and play this game. No offense, Miss.
It comes out exclusive on Wii this year.
Iwata then makes his way to the stage, and details a brief history of Nintendo's comeback (and cracks a joke about selling millions of bathroom scales).
He announces that the Mario and Zelda developers are hard at work to being new titles to Wii. (Not directly saying that there will be more games from those series, but I don't think it is much to ponder over).
A video is shown previewing an Animal Crossing game set to come out this year, called "Animal Crossing City Folk."
Confirmed events: Bunny Day, Halloween, and New Years.
In the new "City" - confirmed activities/locations are: Auctions, a "Happy Room Academy," a fashion designer store, a beauty salon.
You have the ability to send letters with pictures attached to other towns, cell phones or even PCs.
"WiiSpeak" is unveiled, a microphone which can be used to converse with other players from around the world.
Reggie takes the spotlight, saying that Nintendo isn't satisfied with its billions of dollars earned from hardware sales in the US, because there's still billions of people that haven't been reached yet.
He then goes over a few sales chart, and the Wii and DS boast some very impressive numbers.
Three third party games are then spotlighted, Star Wars: Clone Wars - Lightsaber Duels, Raving Rabbids TV Party and Call of Duty: World at War.
The lady's back, and she lets us know that a new Guitar Hero: On Tour called Decades is on its way.
Then she tries to make us hear about Spore Creatures when what we really want is some first party Wii software reveals. Animal Crossing won't last us the whole show.
New features for the DS such as it telling you where to go get your luggage when you get off a plane is "being tested."
DS cookbook software is coming to the US.
Reggie finally retakes the stage and talks about the WIi MotionPlus.
Call me a liar, but the thought seriously crossed my mind that the MotionPlus would be announced and used/packaged along with a Wii Sports 2. Well, Reggie confirmed my hunch - announcing Wii Sports Resort. The MotionPlus attachment will come with an extended jacket along with the new game.
Below are some previews of the new game.
The schweet new add-on to the remote is shown off during a sneakpeak of disk-dog, a game on 'Resort. Cammie shows how the character on the screen reflects the exact movements of her arm.
Reggie shoes how the MotionPlus is used in tandem with the Nunchuck in steering a jet ski.
"That's why they call me the Regginator, alright?" says Reggie as he defeats Cammie in a sword duel. You know, I can't wait to get my hands on this game.
"Several more" activities are to be included in the Wii Sports Resort package, which is said to be released next spring.
E3 turns into a Nintendo concert as Wii Music is now shown onstage, first a drum solo is played, then Miyamoto uses his Wii Remote, pointed at himself, as a wind instrument.
"In Wii Music, you will be able to play over 50 different instruments, just by using your body." Miyamoto says as he demonstrates how little to no experience or skill is needed to preform the songs in this title.
A mode will be included which allows you to use the Balance Board while Drumming for foot-pedals.
The orchestra mode shown two years ago is reconfirmed.
How did I know it would be Super Mario Bros? Of course this retro piece is a natural choice for the team to show off.
Reggie and Cammie then close up with a re-cap, but no new details. No Star Fox, no "Oh yeah, watch for Kid Icarus next year." But I'm not too disappointed.
I just want the Wii MitionPlus now please.
