Rumors! Rumors! Get your rumors while the're hot!

Elebits, a Wii launch title, was... Unique. Different... Special? OK, yes - it was definitely unique. The idea of getting to go in a room and totally trash it is pretty cool. You have this gravity gun, called a "Capture Gun", which you use to move things out of your way in your search for Elebits, tiny creatures that, when captured, provide electricity. The story was very simple, the Elebits were gone, the parents not at home, and one kid who wants to watch his favorite TV show but can't - no Elebits = no electricity. So he takes his Dad's capture gun and searches for them, trashing the house, yet restoring electricity.
It's great fun to throw around couches, shelves, pots, pans, bread, toasters, plants, lights, almost anything you see - but eventually while playing through the story you will come to a catch. Sometimes you have to keep the noise down - if the meters fill up, you lose. Sometimes you have a limit on objects you can break, so sometimes you must carefully set things down instead of tossing them aside.
You can even make your own stages, and play with two or more people. I don't suggest more than two, however. Things would just get way to crazy. It's heard enough to keep track of everything with two people.
Did I mention the story? Yeah - a little hokey, but on that - all the while it's told with....... frightening voice acting. Yeah, we'll just say that. If you can get this game for around $10-15, it may be worth considering, or a solid, thrown-stuff-around-for-fun rent.

Well, since my kind of "thrown in" Elebits review is done, lets move on to the real reason for the article. There has been rumors going around of a new Elebits game in the making. We will be asking Nintendo for confirmation, and we'll keep you posted on details.
