Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is hailed as one of the largest and greatest RPG's for the XBOX 360 to date. I personally own the collecters edition of this game and happen to love it. It has so many ways to customize your avater (or your created character) that it could make you sick. (Not literally, but in a cool way.) Bethesda sure did itself in on this one.

Graphics: 9/10
The graphics in this game are impeccable. Absolutely breathtaking. When on the main quest, when you first exit the sewers, you come out to the view of a beautiful lake below you, an amazingly vivid mountain side on the left, and the breathtaking remains of an ancient city on your right. That was just one of the many "wow" moments of the game for me.

Game playability: 7/10
Although greatly detailed, such as the fact that you fatigue from running, swinging a weapon, and even going up stairs, it is sometimes extremely irritating when you cannot hit your enemy. It is sometimes extremely difficult to hurt your opponent because of the characters that glitch through your weapon. Minor other glitches bring the rating down a little, but not enough to really do any damage.

Entertainment: 10/10
With so many different missions and side quests, it is almost impossible to get bored with this one if you are a real die-hard RPG lover.

Replay Value: Low
Though the quests and other customizations are near endless, once you "beat" it, you won't want to do it again. (Just trust me on this one.)

Negative elements:
This game has a T rating for a reason. That is for sure. With the small amounts of blood, some pretty explicit language, Sexual references, mild uses of alcohol, and a large amount of violence, this greatly turns off many to this game. However, none of the negative elements are very large (other then violence) and are very infrequently used.

Final Review: 9/10
Even with the effects of the negative elements, this is, by far, the greatest RPG I have ever played on the XBOX 360.
